Harrison, home of the Harrison Lake and the Harrison Hot Springs used to hold an annual sand sculpture competition. This is from the first year we went. We’d actually just gone to take a look around and visit the Hot Springs but when we got there we discovered the sand sculpture competition. Dozens of temporary works of art created from sand. Impressive stuff.
Unfortunately, the competition doesn’t run any more but you can find a lot more photos here (or just by searching Google for Harrison Sand Sculptures)
